Scanning Process
The scanning process of 35mm slides, 110, 126, 127, 127 super slide and 828 film slide formats at JaincoTech is initiated with the process of evaluation. Post the scan evaluation process, we then work on the cleaning of the slides with a cloth and remove the dust off them utilizing the compressed air technique. After the removal of the dust completely, insertion of the slides into the 35mm scanner adapter is put into place. Once the scanning slides are fixed into the adapter, we proceed with the loading of the scan settings with respect of the clients’ instructions penned in the Scanning Order Detail Form. With the completion of the step-by-step aforementioned scanning procedure, we then initiate with the scanning workflow. On completion of the scanning process, we match the raw with the processed files, and check and repair the missing image details, if any. Finally, on request of the customer, we run the image-editing process on the processed 35mm, 110, 126, 127 formats, thus giving the photos a picture perfect look. Tips:
- For Slide Scanning, we would suggest to assemble the slides in a specific order. Also note that the slides should be tagged numerically with a unique number on it.
- The shipment of the slides shall be done in original boxes, and archival boxes, or even the reinforced envelope format will do as well.
