110 “Instamatic” Film Scanning
110 “Instamatic”
or the 16mm film scanning got its origin from the introduction of the 110 Instamatic cartridge film roll by Kodak in 1972. These 110 Instamatic film roll that carried actual frame size of 13 x 17 mm were used with the very popular Pocket Instamatic cameras. This class of 110 “Instamatic” can scan a collection of unmounted 110/16mm filmstrip transparencies and negatives as well with visual attributes of color and the black and whites. At JaincoTech, to scan the 110 “Instamatic”/16mm, the frames should be upto 8 frames in length.

  • If the filmstrips are anything longer than 8 frames, they will be precisely cut for proper scanning results.

126 “Instamatic” was introduced in 1963 by Kodak. 126 is a numerical form given to a cartridge-based film format. 126 Instamatic film roll is essentially connected with the low-end point-and-shoot cameras, peculiarly Kodak’s possession of the Instamatic series of cameras. 126 Instamatic scan formats have a frame size of 28mm x 28mm with only one perforation at its base.
